Rockaway Students Host Dinner for Seniors By Brian Magoolaghan
Dancers, from Right to Left, Renae Reid, Amala Williams, Bianca Persaud, Keisha Joseph, and Kelly Livingstone perform for the seniors, school staff, and other invitees.
For one-night-only, students turned the M.S. 180 cafeteria in to a virtual cabaret complete with entertainment, wait-serviced food, and a master of ceremonies.
The evening, organized by the Student Government Association of the Active Learning Prep School (ALPS), took place last Friday. Their first ever Senior Citizen Dinner was an entertaining and tasty treat for those who turned out.
