PS 183 Honors Black History Winners
Every year Town Hall and Con Ed partner to present free performances to school kids. The show always involves something important about Black History and students are invited to submit a poster or essay expressing what they learned. This year they learned about Marian Anderson, the famous contralto. On Wednesday, April 30, cash prizes and certificates were awarded to 8 winners who hailed from all over the city. Pictured are the two winners from PS 183.
