Rockaway is "rolling in opportunity" for entrepreneurs, and City Councilman James Sanders, Jr., wants to get them the info they need to make money, he said at two business training seminars.

"Somebody is going to snatch the opportunity—why not you?" Sanders asked those who came out to P.S. 43 last week.

The seminars, "Where’s the Money" and "Procurement: How to get government and private contracts" were offered. Sanders, who is also the Chair of New York City’s Economic Development Committee, urged the business-minded attendees to create what they believe their community needs, and to seek out other people with dreams for positive reinforcement.

Sanders and the Business Outreach Center Network (BOC) presented the seminars which were sponsored by Greenpoint, Northfork, J.P. Morgan Chase, and Fleet Banks.
