Donations Needed For Field Day

Donations Needed For Field Day

P.S. 256 at St. John’s Home for Boys is planning their Annual Field Day for Friday, June 6.

This year they are planning a Multicultural Field Day. The students enjoy and look forward to this event all year. Many outdoor activities are planned for the students.

Donations are needed to help make this day a success since funds are limited.

St. John’s Home for Boys is "home" for 75 young men who range in age from 8 to 21. The young men come from various home situations. Many have no place but St. John’s to call home.

The staff would like to make this event an extraordinary one. The wish list for the field day includes: hats, water bottles, t-shirts, sunglasses, head wrist bands, sidewalk chalk, handballs, baseball glove, mini basketball, paddles, fruit platters, desserts, bagged candy treats, snacks, and ice cream.

Contributions of any item or amount to help make this field day a memorable day would be greatly appreciated. The contribution will be acknowledged with a tax donation letter receipt, if requested.

If your donation needs to be picked up, please contact Dianne Sheron at 718-945-7045, and arrangements will be made.
