SJEH Seeks Beautification Volunteers

St. John’s Episcopal Hospital South Shore is asking for community volunteers to help plant flowers on Flower Power Day on Sunday, May 18, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The beautification project will focus on the grounds around the hospital which is located at 327 Beach 19 Street and Brookhaven Avenue.

"St. John’s is an important resource and anchor for our neighborhood. We are asking for assistance to beautify the hospital and the block on Brookhaven between Beach 19 and 20 Streets that will help to brighten our community," said K. Betty LeCadre, President of St. John’s Community Advisory Board. "All it will take is one hour of people’s time to be spent outdoors for a good cause on a beautiful spring day."
