Sanitation Fines To Increase

Sanitation Commissioner John Doherty has announced that fines for infractions of the sanitation laws will increase as of Sunday, June 1.

The fines for such infractions as the failure to sweep sidewalks at least 18 inches into the gutter will increase to $100 from $50 on that date. More...
