PHC Auxiliary Discusses CPR
The Peninsula Hospital Center Auxiliary welcomed Peggy Scandole, R.N., Clinical Educator in the Department of Nursing at PHC to an auxiliary luncheon meeting where she discussed Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). "It is important to know what to do in an emergency situation, and to be able to identify a heart attack or stroke," said Ms. Scandole. "Saving someone’s life can be easy as A (Airway) B (Breathing) C (Circulation)." The next PHC Auxiliary meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 1 at Noon in the Meditation Room. It will feature a discussion on necessary precautions for a safe summer. A "Hat Show" will be put on for the residents of Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation immediately following the meeting. All interested parties are welcome to attend each luncheon and encouraged to join the Auxiliary. Further information on the Auxiliary is available from the Peninsula Hospital Center’s Public Affairs office, 718 734-2506.
