Little Globe Holds Open Call For Actors

The Little Globe Theater is seeking four actors for its June adaptation of "Separate Tables" by Terence Rattigan. This performance marks the third season of performances by the theater’s ensemble of talented local actors.

Rehearsals are already in progress with eight of the actors required for the 12-character play. The group is in the process of expanding its roster of performers who are interested in fine acting, and playing a variety of roles.

To complete the cast, the following people are needed: Male, 50-60, for a complex leading role; Male, 50-60, an intellectual gentleman; Male, mid 20’s, an idealistic medical student; and a Female, 25-50, a "perky" waitress.

Mario Martone, director of the Little Globe Theater, is credited with a long theatrical career, both acting and directing. His experience runs the gamut of serious plays to musicals and reviews, both on and off Broadway.

The ensemble’s performances of "A Baker’s Dozen," "A Second Helping," and "Trio" all opened to rave reviews and standing room crowds.

Performances will grace the stage of the First Congregational Church, 320 Beach 94 Street.
