Needs Far Rockaway Input

Needs Far Rockaway Input

Needs Far Rockaway Input

As a coordinator of the Far Rockaway Education Center Development Project, I ask your assistance in research of the Far Rockaway community and surrounds.

The Far Rockaway Education Center will provide educational alternatives to place and time constrained community members. The Center will serve both traditional age and adult students who require training, re-training, high school equivalency credentials, English as a second language skills, or college level reading.

The Center will offer customized educational programs and lifework planning services for employees, students and parents alike. It will serve as an innovative model of higher education delivery and will prepare today’s youth for a better tomorrow. Ultimately, the services provided by the Cente5r will increase the educational attainment level of the Far Rockaway community, which in turn improves the quality of life for all area residents.

In order for the Center to effectively meet the needs of Far Rockaway, it is important that design of the Center be guided by input from the community itself. I would appreciate the opportunity to conduct a more in-depth interview with one or more representatives from you organization, at your earliest convenience.

At present I know the name and address of your organization, but do not know who would be the most appropriate contact person. If you would kindly phone me at 847.475.7580 or e-mail me at holly@humancapital.com, leave your name, a number where you can be reached, and a good time for me to call, I will promptly follow through. I look forward to discussing the potential of this project in the near future.
