On Jan. 18 Voice of the Faithful met with a representative of Bishop Daly in Queens in regards to the banning of the VOTF from meeting on Diocesan grounds. Written materials about the groups in Brooklyn and Queens were handed over . Catanello and others on the committee said they would report on Jan. 29 for further dialogue. More laity participation is needed. Join them on this crusade to stop the scandalous, sinful behavior that has run rampant through the Catholic Church. As Americans our free speech should be welcome within the walls of the Parish Halls throughout. The membership exceeds more than 25,000 in various countries. The goal is to stop abuse, support priests of integrity, and to shape structural change. More regarding this issue as news is gathered. The group will host a meeting at the American Legion Hall on Beach 92 Street on Wednesday, January 29 at 7 p.m. and I urge everybody to attend.
