BCHS Worker Fired For Improper Conduct

BCHS Worker Fired For Improper Conduct

A Rockaway man who was both a school aide and a cleaner on the staff of the school’s custodian was fired this week for allegedly making "improper physical conduct," with a young female student and for "Inappropriate remarks" to that same student.

The man, who was identified as Levone Morris, 53, by Richard Condon, the Commissioner of the Office of Special School Investigator, reportedly told the girl, "I wish that I didn’t have to wait for you to get out of high school," as he rubbed her "soft" hand.

He allegedly also told investigators that he told her, "my house is dirty and I need somebody to clean it."

During the probe, investigators from Condon’s office also found that Morrie had previously pled guilty to criminal mischief in a case where he reportedly set his own car on fire to collect an insurance settlement.
