My name is Larry Burkett. I live in East Texas. Last week while on a solo motorcycle trip through Arizona and California I met Mr. Vladimir Yarets who was featured in your 10/26/02 newspaper article. More ... What a shock to see on the front page of The Wave a group of criminals in the act of committing a crime. Where was the 100 Precinct when this criminal activity was going on? More ... Two weeks ago a letter that I wrote to "Letters to the Editor" dated July 25, 2002 was finally published in The Wave. In it I discussed the rezoning of PS114 to the East-side of Beach 117th Street. On that same date December 28, 2002, a Rockaway Park Association's letter was also published in which they too, strongly recommended down zoning to Beach 117th Street. In last week's Wave in a column entitled "The Opinion" Howard Schwach stated that I was at odds with the Rockaway Park Association's concept of re-zonement. How wrong can you be Mr. Schwach, when both the RPA and I clearly advocate down zoning. More ...
