BOC Comes To Far Rockaway

BOC Comes To Far Rockaway

The Business Outreach Center (BOC) Network, Inc. links local small business and entrepreneurs to public and private technical assistance resources. BOC is a non-profit small business development organization with over a 10-year record of delivering business services in New York City.

The BOC Network is working in conjunction with the office of Councilman James Sanders, Jr. to provide a Needs Assessment and introduce the Wage Subsidy Program to small businesses and entrepreneurs in Far Rockaway.

The Needs Assessment is to help understand the needs of small businesses in Far Rockaway and help them access resources and services to grow their businesses. The Wage Subsidy Program will help businesses affected by 9/11 retain, rehire, and hire employees.

Through the Wage Subsidy Program, the consortium for Worker Education (CWE) will reimburse your company 50-60% wages for current employees or new hires who work at least 20 hours a week, up to $25 per hour, for a total of 13 weeks. The application process is simple and BOC will provide free assistance throughout the application process.
