Margena Madora Francis, born in St. Mary's Jamaica, West Indies, was a 30-year resident of Rockaway who passed away on November 18, 2002.
Margena worked as a Nursing Aide and was a member of the City Mission in Far Rockaway.
She is survived by her daughter, Jocelyn Armstrong and husband Vincent; son, Burnham Clarke and wife Monica; brother, George White and wife Alberta; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Interment under the direction of Jeremiah C. Gaffney Funeral Home, Inc. was held at All Saints Cemetery.

Teresa Stringer, a resident of the Rockaways since 1984, passed away on November 20, 2002 after a long illness.
Teresa worshipped at St. Camillus Church and spent many years caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband Ronald; children, Bonnie and Erika; 2 sisters; and three brothers.
Interment under the direction of the Cassese Funeral Home was held at St. Charles Cemetery.
Julio Villarman, born in the Dominican Republic, resided in the Rockaways for more than 20 years. He passed away on November 14, 2002.
He is survived by his wife, Candida Maria; children, Mercedes, Jorge, Ines, Margarita, Julio and Daniel; 13 nieces and nephews; and other family members.
Interment under the direction of Jeremiah C. Gaffney Funeral Home, Inc. was held in the Dominican Republic.
