M.S. 180 Scholars To Test For Talented Youth Program

M.S. 180 Scholars To Test For Talented Youth Program

M.S. 180 Queens Math Scholars will be taking a special test in December for The Johns Hopkins Talented Youth Program, which provides special opportunities for students gifted in Math.

Through the program, city students are tested and selected for an advanced math and science program at a college campus. They are provided with room and board, as well as a special mentor to help them excel in this academic endeavor.

Goldman Sacks has provided financial aid to the city youth, making the program possible.

Principal George Giberti, Assistant Principal and Math Supervisor Eileen Green and Guidance Counselor Kenita Dickerson, along with the staff and parents applaud their M.S. 180 Math Scholars.
