Rabbi May Elected Head Of Prestigious Board

Rabbi Melvyn May, the spiritual leader of West End Temple in Neponsit, was recently elected President of the prestigious Brooklyn Board of Rabbis.

The Brooklyn Board of Rabbis was founded in 1929 to encourage a closer relationship among the rabbis, and to promote the religious, educational, philanthropic and spiritual interests of the Jewish community.

The installation of the officers of the Brooklyn Board of Rabbis will take place at West End Temple on Sunday, November 17 at 7 p.m.

The installation ceremony will be followed by a concert featuring "La Shir," the Jewish a cappella group from the University of Hartford, and Cantor Leslie Rimer of Madison Jewish Center. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited to attend.
