‘No Funny Games’ For Huhn

‘No Funny Games’ For Huhn

"The events of September 11, 2001 have affected the lives of thousands of New Yorkers. The sorrow that the families have endured will be with us throughout history," stated Kenneth Huhn, the Independence Party candidate for the twenty-third Assembly District.

Huhn continued, "In addition to the loss of lives, over 370,000 jobs have either been disrupted or displaced. This is no time for the New York State ‘to play its not so funny games’ with spending and taxes. They must say good-bye to their pork-barrel spending."

Huhn noted that he favored two other steps: a requirement of a 2/3 majority vote for any tax increase, and the adoption of a constitutional amendment limiting any increase in State spending to the rate of inflation.
