'Last of The Red Hot Lovers'
At Bayswater Jewish Center
Neil Simon's enduring comedy, "The Last of the Red Hot Lovers," will be performed at the Bayswater Jewish Center theater (the corner of Healy Avenue and Dickens Street) from November 7 until November 24. Performances will be held Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings with Sunday matinees.
The play centers on Barney Cashman. Married for 23 years, Barney owns a successful fish restaurant and has no vices. With 50 fast approaching, he gets the urge for a fling. He makes three attempts at adultery - with a sexpot, with a kooky actress and with a depressed family friend.
The play features Barbara Berg, Jana Brooks, Sarah Giller and Stuart Rappaport. It is directed by Jerome Miller and produced by Marvin Potent.
Saturday performances will be held on November 9, 16 and 23 at 8 p.m. Sunday matinees are at 3 p.m. on November 10, 17 and 24. There will be an evening performance each Sunday as well at 7 p.m. All seats are $10.
