Frank J. Consolo, born in Brooklyn, was a 44-year resident of the Arverne community who passed away on October 8, 2002.
Frank worshipped at St. Rose of Lima Church and was employed as a Sales Agent with Prudential Insurance. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion Post 272 (D.M. O'Connell Post).
Frank is survived by his wife, Antoinette (nee Eliseo) Consolo; sons, Michael, Robert and Frank Jr.; sister, Connie Vernino; daughters-in-law, Debbie and Diane Consolo; and grandchildren, Robert Jr. and Debbie Ann.
Interment under the direction of Denis S. O'Connor, Inc, was held at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Fred P. Engelman
Fred P. Engelman was a lifelong resident of Belle Harbor and Breezy Point. He died on October 6, 2002. He had recently celebrated his 75th birthday on October 4.
Fred retired from the LILCO Company after 38 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his brothers-in-law Raymond, John, William and Robert Kearney.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (nee Kearney); son, Rick and wife Paula; daughter, Robin Engelman; loving relatives, Ed Kearney, Florence Siederman and Margaret and Theresa (Josie) Kearney; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were handled under the direction of Denis S. O'Connor, Inc.
