Take On Manhattan

Rockaway Rugby travels to Randalls Island this weekend to take on the Manhattan RFC. After losing a tightly contested match against North Jersey last weekend, the fisheads try to recapture their winning ways on the road. After getting out to an early lead, the Fisheads fell victim to the winds at Ft. Tilden and squandered a chance to remain undefeated in Met NY competition.

The Fisheads were without the services of captain and scrumhalf Jim"Kermit" Egan who is recovering from a knee injury. Despite strong performances from the Kelly brothers, Johnny McMorrow, Wayne Fox, and Oakie O'Connor, Rockaway couldn't hold on and now face a tough road ahead with games against Manhattan, Long Island, and Monmouth County.

Oktoberfest Party:

Plans are in full swing for the first ever Fishead Oktoberfest Party under the huge luxurious Fishead tent. All are welcome to attend at 6pm on Oct.19th.
