     The 2002 CYO Cross Country season opened on a beautiful sunny day with a development meet on Sunday September 29th at Alley Spring Park. Thirty-six St Thomas More athletes ran distances from a half-mile to just over a mile this first meet winning 16 medals competing against 14 other CYO programs.
