In keeping with his pledge to make sure that lifeguards are on the beach, City Councilman Joe Addabbo, Jr. dusted off the old swimming trunks and took to the boardwalk last week. The MTA introduced the latest fleet of buses that will be operating in the Rockaways in the coming months. Officials say the "Cheese Bus Line" will be more fuel efficient and environmental friendly than the Green Bus Line.
