Members of the Far Rockaway firehouse, "The Big House", and officers from the 101 Precinct were honored during a 9-11 memorial service last week. The tribute, which was conducted by the Church of the Nazarene in Far Rockaway, featured several prayers, a moment of silence for the victims, and a march from the firehouse to the church. Many firemen, police officers, and residents joined in the procession, as fire trucks flashed their lights and sounded their horns.
