JBLL Trophy Day

The Broad Channel Athletic Club will be presenting trophies to all the players that participated in the Jamaica Bay Little League 2002 season at family day, which will be held Saturday, August 31st 12 p.m. at BCAC Memorial Field.

Every child that played in the 2002 season will receive a trophy. The league invites all the family and friends of the players to come out and enjoy a great day of fun family activities. There will be plenty to do at family day with scheduled events of the running races, peanut hunt, softball game and plenty more fun activities for the entire family to enjoy. Food and refreshments will be available so come out and enjoy the day with the BCAC and your family and friends.

The BCAC Shamrock Football and Cheerleading program will be holding their pep rally to kick off the 2002 Shamrock Football season. The pep rally will be held on Friday, September 6th 6 PM at Memorial Field. This is a really fun night for all the kids. The Shamrock Cheerleaders will be on hand to show off some of their cheers and get the crowd excited. The Shamrock Players will run through the cheering cheerleaders as they are introduced sporting their new 2002 Shamrock Jerseys. This is always an exciting night for the Football and Cheerleading program. All the players will be wearing the USA flag this season on their jersey in honor of all the victims of 9/11.

The BCAC invites everyone down to Memorial Field to root on the Players and Cheerleaders. Food and refreshments will be available.


The Broad Channel Athletic Club is now holding Practice/Registration for soccer players between the grades of Kindergarten and 8th Grade. The BCAC is having a coed in house league for the first time. All games in the coed division will be played at Memorial Field on Saturday mornings. The ages for the coed division will be kindergarten through 2 ND grade. We are in need of Soccer coaches for our program, if anyone is interested in coaching Soccer please contact the BCAC. We also have openings in the girls soccer program between grades 3 through 8, which is a travel league that plays in the CYO soccer program.
