Esposito Chiropractic Wins

Minor Boys Championship

Minor Boys Championship

A great job was done by the Esposito Chiropractic of the Rockaway Little League Minor Boys Division for winning the World Series in two games against a very formidable opponent in Breezy Point Lumber.

Esposito Chiropractic beat Breezy Point Lumber 13-6 and 14-4 on July 1st to win the championship.

The team consists of: Dominick DeMarco, Vincent Esposito, Michael Forcina, Sean Kuby, Thomas J. Leonard, Jaheed Minette, Jayraad Minette, Sean Murphy, Dennis O' Connor, Connor O' Grady, Kenneth Smith, Sean Tourey and Eddie Warren. They had a fun season, and achieved a goal they set for themselves on opening day. This team stayed focused at all times and played tremendous defense as they had done throughout the season.

The many loyal fans watched on in amazement as the outstanding defensive plays and offensive prowess. It was obvious both pitchers and catchers of this team knew communication was a crucial element to make things happen. This team showed excellent sportsmanship and the encouragement from the fans developed their self-confidence to make their dream become a reality.

A certain magic filled Field #3 on July 1, as the last pitch was thrown and well all knew this group of nine and ten year old boys had achieved the goal they set for themselves on opening day. They all tried their best at each game and succeeded to become the World Series Champions of the RLL Minor Division.

Congratulations to each player who worked so hard all season at practice and at the games. A special thank you must be given to all parents for their support and kindness throughout this season. Many thanks to Marty Andrisen and Rick Ehresman and the many volunteers for putting their own time in caring for the fields and making it a safe field for the children.
