Kenneth Huhn Is The

People's Candidate

Kenneth Huhn of Belle Harbor this week stated: "Once again the leaders of the two major parties try to deny us the right to vote for the candidate we want as our Assemblyman. Because of this and many other reasons, I am running for Assembly in the 23rd A.D. I will be running on the Independent line. Because of my background with the Republican and Conservative Parties (Conservative Party District Leader 1973-1984 and founder and current president of the Gateway Republican Club), I will be able to draw votes from all three parties. Besides that I will be able to get the votes of the independent minded Democratic voters."

Some of the issues that he will run on are: replacing the Rockefeller drug law, prohibit a person from obtaining custody of a child if the person is convicted as a sex offender, giving tax credit to parents who send their children to private schools and support a constitutional amendment requiring that any legislative pay raise be approved by the voters.
