Reading Clubs at Peninsula Library

Reading Clubs at Peninsula Library

Now that children are home from school, it’s a good time for the summer programs at the Peninsula Branch of the Queens Borough Public library.

Registration has already started for the reading clubs. Read-To-Me Club is designed for preschoolers, ages 3 to 6 years old. The Summer Reading Club is for school-aged children, ages 6 to 12. There is a Young Adult Reading Club for teens and an Adult Reading Club.

This year’s theme is "Splish Splash Read." It’s a natural choice for those sunny summer Rockaway days!

In addition to reading clubs, the library offers many programs and activities for children, such as story times, arts and craft projects, a mask-making workshop, and a preschool sing-along.

Parents and children are invited to stop by the branch, join a club, and attend the programs. The public is welcome to check out future events and many fine books and videos.

The Peninsula Branch of The Queens Borough Public Library is located at 92-25 Rockaway Beach Boulevard.
