Dot on Roxbury by Dotty Taphouse

On June 18th the Breezy Point Golden Age had their closing party at St. Thamas More's Hall. President Renee Lacey, Sister Eileen, Ann Marie Grozinger, and other helpers decorated the Hall beautifully and ran the Party. Frannie Jaminof JAMCO catered the delicious dinner; Josephine MeMonagle was in charge of the local talent and sang very well herself. Timmy was the D.J. for dancing.

On Wednesday June 19th, Trinity Senior Services, Inc., where Dr. Geraldine Chapey serves as Chairperson, ran a trip on the van to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. The flowers were gorgeous and on the way home we stopped at Lenny's Clam Bar where we met "Stella", leader of the trips for a great dinner. Another great day!

On Sunday June 23, my great granddaughter Jessica Anne Geis celebrated her second birthday at her home with all her cousins and family.

Elizabeth Nies, daughter of John and Lisa, sister of Caitlyn and Nicole, celebrated her second birthday of June 21 at her home with about 50 family and friends. Congratulations!

Happy Birthday Christine Behler June 26.

Love DOT!
