Bums Are People Too
This is my response to last week's opinion of a concerned 16-year-old teen who had strong beliefs about too many "bums" on 116th Street. My opinion totally differs in this serious matter. I am also a sixteen-year-old girl who has resided in Rockaway my whole life. I find last week's opinion to be rude, inconsiderate, and cold-hearted.

Empty Promises of A Pool
I would like the Wave newspaper to investigate why Senators Schumer and Clinton, and Congressman Weiner continue to forget their promises to the people and the children of the Rockaways. Two Thirds Not Good Enough
A while back the news ran an article about a probationary firefighter. On September 11 he was working across from the twin towers. He went through the hell of the collapse. Early on in the aftermath he was in a crisis. "I was having trouble sleeping. Every time a plane flew over, I had to look up and make sure it wasn
