Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-Queens & Brooklyn), Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-Manhattan & Queens), and local senior’s groups released a new international study showing that Queens and Brooklyn seniors pay among the highest prescription drug prices in the developed world

The study shows that local seniors pay up to three times as much as in Europe, Asia, and Canada for they very same drugs, produced by the very same drug manufacturers.

A press conference releasing this study was held on Sunday, June 16.
