Where Are Your Children?

Where Are Your Children?

Dear Editor;

This letter is to the parents of west end teenagers.

We residents of the beach blocks would appreciate your knowing where your children are and what they are doing during the evening hours, specifically on Friday and Saturday evenings.

And, if your child happens to be one of the very many (upwards of 50-75 kids) who hang out on the beach walls, we would appreciate your enforcing your parental responsibility by not having your child create disturbances for the residents who live nearby. Specifically, they are loud, drink, enter private property, and leave their garbage behind and those with friends who drive speed up and down the block at all hours.

And, if you are telling yourself "not my child" I have news for you. It is your child and their friends. Because they walk and they come on bicycles.

So, please be considerate of your neighbors and of your community.
