Don’t Blame The Wave

Don' t Blame The Wave

Dear Editor;

This letter is in defense of the numerous attacks on The Wave editor by Congressman Meeks.

These attacks waged at the editor and the newspaper by Congressman Meeks is his obvious intent to cover-up the truth from print and to silence the newspaper of it s Constitutional Rights. Yet it was Assemblyman Meeks now Congressman Meeks, who stood to defend the freedom of press by degenerates to have a tax-exempt status remain in tact for a magazine exploiting sex between men and boys.

It was also Assemblyman Meeks also who stated that to deny this magazine of its tax exemption status would be an infringement of their constitutional rights under freedom of information.

Clearly, the message here is that taxpayers in this state should subsidize the immoral behavior imposed upon them by degenerates. And, that the exploitation of our male children should be allowed by self-craven gratuitous men who only want to make a profit or score with a young boy.

Freedom to express in print should never be allowed to be tampered, threaten, coerced or attempted to be silenced, as is the intent of Congressman Meeks. Numerous attacks of this newspaper and its editor from printing the truth of his very lax administration on issues relevant to this community.

Clearly Congressman Meeks focus should rightfully be on the schools and children s performances, particularly in districts 27 and 29, than the attempt to bash at the editor of a local paper. His quality time should be better spent addressing the high unemployment in the district and how his office could be instrumental in elevating changes deemed necessary. Or for that matter addressing the high cancer rate particulary among Afro-American woman or the large volume of AIDS in the South East Queens/Far Rockaway communities particularly among middle age men and women. Not the frivolous. Think about it.
