Five Locals Complete Studies at Berkeley

Berkeley College recently announced that five graduates from the Rockaways have received degrees at the College’s 2002 Commencement Ceremony. Rafael Andino, Kateya A. Harrison, Pamella Lee, and Romeo Antonio Ruiz are all from Far Rockaway, and Anna Stachurko is from Rockaway Park.

Andino received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration – Marketing, Harrison and Lee both received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration – Accounting.

Ruiz received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – Office Systems Management, and Stachurko received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – Marketing.

Members of the class of 2002 have been placed with such companies as Neiman Marcus, Nine West, Lillian Vernon, Panasonic, MasterCard International, Commerce Bank, Sprint, Perillo Tours, UPS, Snapple, and the Rockefeller Group. Berekely College graduates are entitled to free placement assistance for life.
