Bizarre Letter
I am writing in response to Susan Ehresman's rather bizarre letter attacking the "Four Concerned Parents" who wrote the previous week detailing alleged abuses of power within the inner workings of P.S. 114. I do not have children in the school but I have friends and family who do. When I read the original letter from the parents, I found it to be a well-written, reasonable account of what these parents saw as injustices. However, the allegations were so incredible, that I thought some of them had to be somewhat exaggerated.

Former PS 114 Student
As a former student of P.S. 114 as well as a former student of the "undesired teacher" I keep reading about, I felt compelled to write a letter in support of the families and teachers involved.

Gonky Lampposts
I can't believe they're putting up gonky lampposts along the boardwalk to obstruct our beautiful ocean view.

Include Rockaway
NOW is the time for our elected officials to step in and convince Mayor Bloomberg to include Rockaway in ferry operations.

Investigation In Order
What an idea for a sequel to famed "Boston Public". Right here in our backyard, as if we haven't had enough excitement and sorrow, we now have bored housewives and husbands who have nothing better to do with their time but to distract, annoy and malign the staff at our great school. And in reference to the alleged relation on the BOE, an investigation by the new School Investigator school be undertaken, if it has not already been. Thanks again to the un-named four for disclosing the sins of these few.

Need To Stop Prejudice
I love Far Rockaway! When I went off to college at Tuskegee University in 1986 to study Aerospace Engineering, the first person I met, now Dr. Sidney Bryson, nicknamed the woman I was in love with "Far Rockaway" because I told him so much about the place I left before arriving in Tuskegee. Sidney has never been to Far Rockaway, but last November, when the news spread that a plane went down in the Rockaways, he E-mailed me to find out if any of my relatives were involved in the fatal plane crash. Whenever he asks about the young lady, Michelle, he asks, "How

Obvious Ethnic Slur
Aside from the obvious ethnic slur in her letter to the editor, Mrs. Ehresman hit the nail on the head with her analogy of the leprechauns holding the pot of gold at PS 114. Sadly, Mrs. Ehresman writes with glee about this situation and doesn

Pasta Boxes For Rockaway
I am glad that a pasta magnate is coming to Rockaway Beach. How do I know it? Very simple. Who would build spaghetti, or should I say, ziti box style homes on 102 Street? Give me a break. A spaghetti box style home would be welcomed in a region where it would alleviate a shortage of homes; it would give homeless people a decent place to live; it would take people from a ghetto zone and give them a chance to live in a decent, humane atmosphere.

Plenty of Experiences
I have been reading with great interest the many impassioned letters regarding "Favoritism at P.S. 114" (even Boyle-ing Points added its two cents).

Poor Postal Service
Has anyone noticed how poorly the service is at the Mott Avenue Post Office? It gets worse ever year. The help is rude. They lose your mail and your parcels. And they get snippy about it when asked about it. Never mind you have to pay carfare to get your parcels. And its nothing for them to say "come back, we can

PS 114 Is Great Experience
