Don’t Respond to Crackpots

Don't Respond to Crackpots

Dear Editor,

I hope the residents of Rockaway didn't respond again with a slew of letters to the article printed in "The Wave" by the anti-semitic crackpot. To do so would lend him credence and credibility. He is an insignificant guppy in a pond of fish.

To reply merely creates a tit for tat format. It's an act in futility to respond. It is best not to dignify his presence or existence. Let it go.

We are better off focusing on the big apples in public office and in the public's eye. Many of these people spew forth their venom with racism, divisiveness and acrimony.

You cannot explain anything to someone with no flexibility and a warped mind. Let this schmuck fade into obscurity.

P.S. I hope you will not delete this letter because of the slang word I used in my last sentence. It has become very prevalent in the tabloids written by columnists.
