A Party Of Political Respect!

A Party Of Political Respect!

Dear Editor,

Although I can't speak for anyone else, I can certainly speak for myself. Having said that, I am outraged that Mr. Sharpton had a march in Washington protesting the government's profiling on Arab Americans. Doesn't Mr. Sharpton know that this is a war on terrorism? Although I am against police profiling, I certainly think the government is taking the right steps to prevent another World Trade tragedy that has killed thousands of innocent people. As this terror unravels, the government is finding out that a lot of these coward terrorists come from our own backyards. If Mr. Sharpton were to keep his nose out of everyone else's backyard, he would know what's going on in ours.

Another disturbing thing about Mr. Sharpton, who calls himself a â018so-right' activist, is how he dares to support a community that in no time stood with the community of color on civil rights issues. All the Arabs have done is support slavery as they're doing now by selling black women and children into slavery for profit. If Mr. Sharpton were to sit down and look back at history, he would be aware of this. I say this because my reservations about Mr. Sharpton are very suspicious, especially since he and Mr. Ferrera, whom I supported in the mayoral primaries, could stand in the same room or the same stage with the well-known sleaze bag, Mr. Mark Green. This man used racial slurs against Mr. Sharpton and Mr. Ferrera and damn near told the community of color to kiss his ass and then lied about it.

The impression that Mr. Sharpton and Mr. Ferrera gave me are nothing more than houseboys and girls on call for slave driving democrats who have no respect for the community of color and only wear a friendly mask when seeking our votes.

This is why I am in full support of the independent party spearheaded by Dr. Phalonie, who I strongly believe will bring political respect to the community of color. It is also the Negro's of color not the white Negro's, responsibility to join hands with us positive African-Americans, Caucasians, Latinos and others to gain a platform political arena. Peace!

P.S. Racism is nothing but manipulation of a distraction away from dollars and cents, powers-to-be, and control.
