LIPA Is Two-Faced

LIPA Is Two-Faced

Dear Editor:

Let's see if I have this straight:  LILCO was an energy monopoly.  So it splits into two companies: LIPA (for electric) and KeySpan (for gas).  In the process, homeowners lose routine service visits and repair visits LILCO once made without charge.  NOW, LIPA wants to buy KeySpan back?  HELL NO!!  This is a ploy by Richard Kessel to re-monopolize.  Call or write the New York State Public Service Commission and complain - about service, rates and LIPA's two-faced attempt to pull the wool over our eyes again!
