No Fix for Duane Reade?

No Fix for Duane Reade?

Dear Editor;

I am writing this letter to vent my frustration at Duane Reade Pharmacy. On Saturday, January 5th, I attempted to renew my 3-year-old son's vitamins, only to find out that the pharmacy did not have them in stock. I was told that they were going to order them, and that I could pick them up on Monday the 7th. On the 7th, I was told that they would be in on the 8th. On the 8th, I was told the 9th. It is now the 10th and still no vitamins. Thank God I'm not waiting for vital medication for my child.

How do they continue to operate with such inefficiency? How come nothing can be done about such a lack of inventory and management? Where are the managers of Duane Reade and what do they do to correct this problem. Lord knows I am not the first dissatisfied customer with this department.

To top it off, they confused me with another customer who happens to have my last name. Once I told the cashier that I was not related to this person, they proceeded to bad mouth this person because he complained that his prescription was delayed as well. At least they found his. Still waiting…
