Boston College freshman Clare Droesch continues playing well as Boston College improved their record to 6-2. They won over Quinnipiac 86-54 to improve BC’s record to 6-2. Droesch added 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. At one point in the game, the Eagles had a 40-point lead over Quinnipiac.

Droesch, who resides in Belle Harbor continues to make an impact as a first year player. She has played in all 8 games this year and is averaging 10 points a game. She is also a good rebounder for a guard as she is third on the team in rebounding. Droesch has not started a game yet but it will be sooner than later that she will make an impact in the starting lineup. She finishes off a year after receiving the following honors: 2001 first team Parade All-American and third team choice by USA Today … averaged 20.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 4.0 steals per game as a senior … selected as the New York state sports' writers Player of the Year in 2001. scored 1,830 points over her career as Christ the King went 106-10 in her four years … was an honors student … also played softball, earning all-borough first team honors as a sophomore and junior.
