Droesch, a Belle Harbor native and who played at Christ The King High School in Queens, scored 24 points to lead the charge. Droesch scored a team high 24 points on 7 for 11 shooting, which included hot shooting from the three point arc by going for 4 for 5. The Eagles improved to 3-1 and St. Joseph fell to 3-2.
It was a close contest throughout the game played at St Joseph’s Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse in Philadelphia.
