Willing To Help

Willing To Help

Dear Editor;

I just wanted to let you know that the people of Belle Harbor are in my
thoughts. When I first saw the news of the plane crash on Veteran's day, I
thought, as I am sure so many people did, "why there, why now?" I kept
hoping and hoping that there would be no casualties on the ground, to spare the citizens of your town any more losses of your friends, neighbors, and families. But this was not to be.

My first reaction was to load up our trailer with clothing, food and
supplies and head up there this weekend to help in any way I could, but then I thought I didn't want to be an intrusion, as I am sure the town will be overwhelmed with people helping, as seems to be the norm across the nation these days. I am here to help, though, if the need be, in any way I can. But for now, my heart goes out to everyone, and you all are in my thoughts throughout each day.
