One Gal ’s Opinion

One Gal ’s Opinion

Dear Editor;

The best thing with this country is you may be poor or you may be rich, but we are all American citizens and a free nation.

Long ago when I was young, say 17, we all felt safe, even when there was a war, for it wasn’t here.

And as a teen, we were only interested in having a good time with the servicemen, go down to Penn Station and kiss the boys goodbye.

And since this terrible tragedy, I can’t stop crying. All those lovely young people, gone forever.

My heart and sympathy goes out to their loved ones. And as long as I love I shall never forget.

Since this terrible senseless act of terror, nothing shall ever be the same.

And thanks to the good Lord we didn’t lose a one: and how lucky can we be?
