James Galvin and Megan Hoey were married on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at Saint Saviour Church in Park Slope, Brooklyn by Msgr. Joseph P. Nagle. The groom's mother Helen Galvin of Roxbury was escorted by Harold Wilkins. Megan is the daughter of Virginia and Thomas Hoey, who reside in Prospect Heights Brooklyn.

The bride’s sister Kathryn Hoey was maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Bridget Leavens, Kristen Hoey, Eileen Hoey and Caitlin Hoey.

Megan's cousin Maureen Hoey was the adorable flower girl. The groom's party included Jim's best man Tom Roach, Jim Fox, Geoff Gilmartin, Rich Colleran and Megan's brother Tom Hoey.

The reception was held at Moran's Restaurant in Chelsea, NYC, where guests dined on filet mignon and sole stuffed with lobster. Music was provided by the unstoppable band, the Boston Burglars. A good time was had by all! ! !  Congratulations ! !
