No Difference

Dear Editor;

There is no doubt that the Mayors performance was admirable during the Sept.11crisis in our city. But the performance of this mayor on his watch I believe, would not have been any different of the candidates currently in line for the post. The Mayor and the President have called for our
government to return to normalcy. If we concede to the hold over of the
Mayor past his term of office, would be in violation of the law of which he
is to uphold and the wishes of the voters, including granting the terrorist stating rights of, having foiled the normality process of the local
government. If it is to be the wish of the incoming Mayor to keep the out
going Mayor, then it should be only in the capacity of either a Consultant
or Technical Adviser, and for no other reason. Had this attack not occurred,
the thought of holdover would not have been conceived, and should not now.
The city is quite capable of sustaining itself with any of the current
candidates. Each comes with many years of professional experience.
Keep in mind, it's not the mayor who determines whether the city returns to normal, but the choice of the good citizens of this town; of which any of
the 3 candidates is quite capable and responsible of leading.
