Local athlete Tylee Smith, age 7, competed in the 7th Annual Citywide Parks and Recreation Talent Show. With his hip-hop, rap and break dance routine he wowed the audience and took first place in the city.

The competition took place at Lost Batallion Hall in Rego Park. He represented Sorrentino Recreation Center in this great city-wide event. He won at the local and borough level first. Then, last Saturday, he was named the best in the city.

This junior Far Rockawayite was coached by his mom, Katisha Simpkins. He is also a member of the renowned Stan’s Pepper Steppers.
