The Inner Voice by Marilyn Gelfand

The Inner Voice by Marilyn Gelfand

As we continue to explore psychic perception and information in this column, the nature of vibrations is at the crux of our understanding. From time to time, we may be in the presence of one with whom we feel uncomfortable although the person is a total stranger and has not uttered a word, or vice-versa, we feel so good in the energy of a stranger. We sense something about this person, and our inner being responds. Each of us is composed of a physical body as well as an aura of spirit energy. The aura reflects our mental and emotional state of mind. What we feel from others is an actual vibration that each one of us emits, and we may feel comfortable or uncomfortable depending on our own vibration.

As our body may be in various conditions of health, so the aura reflects our angers, joys, confusions, etc. As we must clean our bodies to remove dirt and pollutants, the aura too can be cleansed to allow only the thoughts and feelings that we want to remain within ourselves. An aura cleansing is like taking a shower. It usually allows us to feel calm and relaxed and free from negativity that may be originating from within ourselves or others.

One way to cleanse our aura is to begin by taking a few deep breaths, and to consciously say "I cleanse my mind, my body, and my spirit." Hands may be used to wash the face and head (without water) as this thought is created, or a beautiful energy or white light may be visualized or felt around the body. A religious prayer or different words may be used. The idea is to bring in the essence of cleansing and to permit our own auras to radiate with a beautiful, positive feeling.

As we cleanse our own energy on a regular basis, the feeling of a cleansed aura becomes noticeably pleasant compared to when it is not cleansed. It may be done as often as necessary during the day, and it is nice to do before falling asleep.

We are in control of the energy that is stored within our bodies. It is up to us to choose energies that provide us with feelings of well-being, peace, and pleasant thoughts. When things don’t seem to work in our lives, it is important to recognize that our thought patterns may be enhanced to provide necessary alternative approaches by attracting what is in our best interest using the attraction of a positive vibration. Visualization is one of the techniques that does this.
