Take It Home To Mommy

Take It Home To Mommy

Dear editor:

Your lead story in the April 21 issue regarding Ms. Ariola’s "problems" obtaining a web address is not a news story. Certainly, it does not warrant a front page. That is, unless the Wave is putting its name behind Ms. Ariola, in which case it should be mentioned.

However, it does point out how underprepared Ms. Ariola is to represent us. Rockaway is not a political stepping stone. We want and need someone who is really going to help us. For far too long we have been abused by political wannabes.

Business is business. It was very astute of Mr. Macron to obtain the web addresses mentioned in the story. If he will be as conscientious in his representation of us, then he is what we want and need. As a Rockaway businessman, I have long since been aware of the importance of a website to certain businesses. Ms. Ariola is not a newcomer to the political arena, and should have had a website since then.

So, Joanne, I know you read this, take your bellyaching home to mommy. The taxpayers don ‘t care about your business problems and nobody’s going to change the laws to help you. Frankly, that’s what we’re expecting from our next City Council person. Obviously, you’re not suited to the job.
