B.C.A.C. Opening Day Parade

B.C.A.C. Opening Day Parade

By Emanuel Jalonschi

Spring is in the air and that means hot dogs, sunny days and, of course, little league baseball.

The B.C.A.C. Jamaica Bay Little League has just announced the beginning of their 2001 season. To commemorate there will be an Opening Day Parade held on Saturday April 28 at 10:00 a.m.

"We are anxious to share our excitement of the continuing success of the blossoming league," writes Parade coordinator Joan Minihane.

The starting point is the B.C.A.C. building on Noel Road and will continue to the ball field on First Road and Cross Bay Boulevard. If it rains the parade might be postponed until May 6, same time.
