Anti-Semitism Still Here

Dear Editor;

I can’t believe it! Anti-Semitism is still rampant in our town and in America. My husband and I are second generation Americans and we are of the Hebrew Faith. Two weeks ago we came back from shopping and found a swastika on our doorpost. This Saturday, we found a second Swastika on our door with the words "Time to Burn." We were horrified. We called the police and they were most cooperative. The sick, cowardly person who has no morals or scruples will be punished in this life or the next. We are not afraid.

Next week is the celebration of the Jews going in to the Holy Land. As we sit at our Passover table with our son and future daughter-in-law, we will pray that hatred and bias leave our doors and our beautiful country; that what our boys fought and died for in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam will not be forgotten because they fought beside their comrades of all races and religions.
