Our community suffered another great loss last week. Rabbi Joe Weiss of West End Temple, a spiritual and community leader in Rockaway for more than 50 years, passed away. Many will miss Rabbi Weiss, known for being a gentle man who offered words of wisdom and support to many in our community. The Wave and the entire Rockaways extend sympathies to the family.
